“What is the bravest thing you ever said?” asked the boy. “Help,” said the horse
Our mission is to enable people to enjoy animals and nature, experience a safe, non judgmental environment in which you and your family can explore your inner thoughts, feelings, desires, beliefs, needs and wants, with the assistance of an equine companion.
Horses have the unique ability of being able to pick up on our energy levels, body language and emotional state and allow us to learn far more about ourselves than we’ve ever thought possible. To learn more about Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) please click here.
Classical Equitation’s EAL programs offer one-on-one or group sessions, designed for elementary-aged youth through adults. We strive for smaller, more intimate groups to allow for more engagement of participants with the horses.
EAL can but doesn’t have to involve riding, so you do not require any horse experience. We recommend to dress for the weather (non insulated indoor riding arena available) and closed toe shoes are mandatory. Riding helmets will be provided.
